started in mid September of 2007 with a single email request by a mom with the desire for an inclusive, secular homeschooling community in the Lake Norman area.  8 families showed up at the library to brainstorm a support group.  A week later a yahoo group was set up with 10 families joining immediately.  We currently have over 190 families that are connected with this loop that are participating in a wide variety of activities listed our yahoo calendar.

 

The vision of LKN-sec is to provide ongoing activity support for all homeschool types and ages in and around the Lake Norman area.
